A Somerset Parade (ASP) is a five piece Alternative Pop-Punk band from Brisbane, Australia.
A Somerset Parade enjoy airplay on Triple J’s Short.Fast.Loud segment and the first single of the “Bright Young Things” EP, “Next Life” received Number One in the Triple J Unearthed charts for three consecutive weeks in 2016.
A Somerset Parade have recently completed their ruins of this world tour for their debut album “against all odds”. This tour included three weeks in Europe playing to capacity crowds as well as a slot on the Noppen Air music festival in Austria. They have also supported acts such as Strung Out, Unwritten Law, Custard, Phil Jamieson, Butterfingers and many more national and international acts.
When A Somerset Parade aren’t touring, they are heavily into fundraising and using their influence to provide fundraising opportunities to those less fortunate. This includes creating and organising the Lismore flood benefit “Rock the Rivers” in June 17, raising money for the non-for-profit organisation “Heartfelt House” which assists adult survivors of abuse and most recently supporting the Brightside, Brisbane in raising funds for the RSPCA. ASP are currently in the studio recording their long anticipated new single “Clementine” due for release in January 2019 along with an associated film clip.
